CLTS Foundation, in association with SNV (Cambodia), kick-started ‘Sharing and Learning Community Led Total Sanitation’, a National Level Workshop in Pursat Province of Cambodia on the 5th February. The 5 day workshop is focussed on increasing the capacity of the Master Trainers and facilitators from the major institutions to strengthen, institutionalize and scale up CLTS initiatives nation-wide. A total of 70 trainers from different organizations across Cambodia, namely SNV Cambodia, Plan Cambodia, CR-SHIP, WaterAid Cambodia, Cambodia’s Ministry of Rural Development and UNICEF Cambodia are participating in this hands-on training workshop to update their knowledge, facilitation skills and all aspects of post triggering follow up of CLTS. The participants will undergo intensive training both in the classroom and on field to sharpen their knowledge, skills and understanding to be able to fast track the access to sanitation across Cambodia.
