Training of Trainers workshop (20-25 May) for around 80 key stakeholders in the Volta Region in eastern Ghana. The majority of participants are from the Environmental Health and Sanitation Deparment, as UNICEF are working through them to deliver CLTS in 5 districts out of 25 in Volta Region. However, there are additional participants from the Womens Department, Community Water Sanitation Association(CWSA), the Community Development Department and NGOs. The aim is to scale up CLTS across the 25 districts working through all these agencies as well as others that are being identified, such as the church groups, natural leaders and community consultants. The training involves classroom and field based learning, including two days of triggering in villages.
